Elevating Workplace Wellbeing: MediBase’s New Office Fitout

Designing spaces that enhance both productivity and wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. For our latest project with MediBase, a healthcare provider for veterans, we were tasked with creating a functional office that balances calm and practicality. Located in Kuluin, Sunshine Coast, the new office needed to cater to the immediate needs of a growing company while supporting their future transition to healthcare services.

Balancing Comfort and Functionality

MediBase’s new office is a true reflection of how thoughtful design can transform a workspace. Our long-time client needed acoustic comfort for their call center and a front-of-house area that could eventually serve their health clinic services. We took this brief and created a space that feels light and inviting, despite the challenges of limited natural light.

A custom tartan carpet from Interface Flor brings warmth and character to the office, while a perforated Gyptone acoustic ceiling ensures peace and quiet for staff who spend their days on the phone. It’s the little things that make a big difference.

Creating a Calm, Functional Workspace

We love bringing nature indoors, so plants were a must in this project. They add that calming, fresh touch every office needs. The bold Bauwerk Lime Paint feature walls and the standout Nood Co ‘Bowl Basin’ in Olive give the space a bit of fun and personality - because who says an office can’t have a little flair?

Beyond the design aesthetics, practicality was key. Full-length mirrors and traditional storage solutions make the space as functional as it is beautiful, ensuring the MediBase team can work comfortably every day.

A Workspace Designed for Growth

After four months of collaboration, we’re thrilled with the outcome of this 87m² office. MediBase now has a workspace that not only meets their needs but also reflects their values.

MediBase’s new office is a testament to how thoughtful design can elevate a workspace - blending aesthetics, comfort, and function. As MediBase grows, this space will adapt with them, offering both staff and clients a calm, inspiring environment.
